This is Matt from MEETUP.  First of all, I'm sorry you wrote to us and
didn't get a reply.

And to answer your question, yes, we'd love to combine efforts!  We did this
to make it easier and more convenient for groups like yours, and to get new
people involved.  We have a hard time changing the day and time much more,
because when we change it for DFW, we simultaneously change it in 520 other
cities.

What we can do however is make the venues more representative of where you'd
really like to go, rather than randomly selecting some good places in the
DFW area.  If you want to give me any suggestions, I'll make sure they're
slotted, and if there's one in particular you like, I can help to promote it
a bit.

I think the best way we can help is sending more bloggers to participate in
your Wednesday group.  We'll link to you from our blog page, and also, any
DFW bloggers who sign up will be joining to come to that MEETUP.

Let me know what you think, as well as any other ideas or suggestions you
have.

I wrote MEETUP a few weeks ago and got no response.  I run a site called
DFWblogs.com.  We have been meeting on the third Wednesday of the month for
a year now.  I noticed that the Blog MEETUP has been moved to this date (it
was the 3rd Thursday last month).  We have a very active group of people
that meets, and I would hate to split up DFW area bloggers with two meetings
in one night.  Is there any way we can combine efforts?
